There are those in the various branches of the Patriot Community who proclaim the Constitution and our other Founding documents have failed.  One argument oft noted is that the Constitution was intended to protect us from tyranny.  Some folks want to return to the Articles of Confederation.

All of this is ridiculous.

Did the Bible end the evils of man?

The Constitution was never intended to prevent tyranny from setting upon the republic.  Firstly, it is a parchment, it can't pull a trigger in defense of anything.  More importantly, each and every Founder & Framer knew, and warned us in their writings, that what they were giving to us, their posterity, would always be at risk of wicked men.

A republic, if you can keep it...

Does anyone really believe today that the Founders & Framers were able to eradicate human nature with the ink on a parchment, and that civilization would proceed forward on autopilot free of the problems caused by wicked men?

Absurd.

They had to fight and kill just to give us a chance at a life free of Kings and despots.  The chance that they gave to us, the opportunity, is simply a set of tools codified within an operating system for governance.  The very premise of the Balance of Powers between the three branches was required because they knew that the nature of man is to consolidate power and subjugate his fellow man.

Not one of our Founders or Framers ever thought the fight was finished when the British went home.  Even though it was their Countrymen who would now take the reigns of governing, they knew that some would seek power over others, and it did not matter that these men were American rather than British. 

In every age of man there are those who intend to be Masters...

The Founders gave to posterity four essential tools to ensure that future generations could be rid of those wicked men.  They gave to us the ability to vote.  They gave to us the only articulated crime in the Constitution, Treason.  They ensured the States retained the power of nullification, to dismiss Federal mandates that went beyond the scope of the Constitution.  Finally, they articulated the innate right of man to defend himself in the Second Amendment. 

When all else fails, shoot the bastards.

To say that the parchment has failed is incorrect.  It is we Americans who have failed to implement the Constitution.  We have allowed those wicked men to use the mechanisms of governance to become our Masters.

We have failed to vote.  In so doing we have allowed the wicked men to fortify their positions in office.  That's our fault.

We have failed to bring a single politician before a court to face charges of Treason for willfully disregarding the limits of the Constitution - either a court set up under the Constitution or a court called into session by a group of Patriots.  Hell, we haven't even tarred and feathered anyone in centuries!

Juries have no idea of nullification, because the wicked men have completely turned the educational system into their indoctrination system.  They do not tell our Little Darlin's about nullification.  Hell, one day someone might even try to use it!

States are looking at nullification.  One of the sleeper movements moving through the nation today is the Firearms Freedom Act, spearheaded by Gary Marbut and the State of Montana.  He has managed to bring aboard several states and more are considering the process.  The argument is that the Feds have no right to regulate intrastate commerce. 

It is a States Rights issue using firearms as the vehicle, and it has great promise...providing Patriots still have the spine to stand up to the Feds.  Let's see if the States that are moving down this road have the grit to implement it properly and actually shoot the Feds who dismiss their position.

Finally, there is the Second Amendment.  Every American today should be embarrassed by the state of this innate and unalienable right of man in our republic.  You own only the firearms permitted by the State, after dutifully groveling and begging permission, offering tithe in the form of fees and taxes. 

Many among the RKBA crowd call for moderation in the fight, urging that we are making headway and recovering our rights, within reasonable parameters.  The moderates on this issue are already slaves, they are spineless and wholly owned by the State, for they have already yielded an innate right.  They give legitimacy to the concept of Gun Control the moment they accept the premise that the State has any right to infringe...

The Constitution is not a failed document.

Americans have failed to vote the bad guys out of office.  Americans have failed to run candidates who will respect the Constitution.

Americans have failed to hold Treasonous politicians, bureaucrats and LEO accountable.  Americans permit these people to violate right after right, with impunity.

Americans have failed to maintain strong states, abdicating power for federal dollars.  Every politician in your state has been elected by your fellow residents.  They used the voting process, we did not.

Americans have failed to defend the Constitution, for we have not met at the Courthouse with arms and go bags in hand, demanding that they stand down.

Americans have failed the Constitution, not the other way around.

Excerpt: There comes a time when civility is no longer appropriate as the only option on the table.  Dare we not offend the sensibilities of Liberals, Socialists, and Communists in our midst who are ruining and destroying our republic?  Are we to cower and sheepishly genuflect when we are scolded for the tone or choice of our words in the face of ruin, poverty, tyranny, and death?!

How is that not only a degree or two removed from a pistol to the head? We are undeniably heading toward the same tyrannies known to Russians, Germans, and the Chinese.  It starts with Liberalism, advances to Socialism, and ends with Fascism, Communism, or some other tyranny…and death.

Excerpt: We have a culture of people whose first response to a physical threat is to dial 911, or worse, a lawyer.  We have a nation of people who will dump hot coffee on themselves, then sue the restaurant – and win!  We have a nation of educators who suspend children for drawing a picture of a handgun or for bringing a Boy Scout knife-and-fork kit to show and tell! 

We have a nation of people so removed from the food chain that many would starve to death if the local supermarket closed.  We have a nation of people who cannot truly grasp the hardships faced by most of the people in the world every day, and as a result we have a nation of people who have lost fundamental common sense.

Excerpt: The Bill of Rights articulates the natural rights of man, rights that are not bestowed by government, but rights that are innately ours as human beings.  These rights may not be taken from us.  These rights were written in plain language so that no clever interpretation and manipulation of the intent was possible.  These rights may not be restricted, narrowed, or infringed.  Any attempt to do so is a violation of the relationship between Man and Creator. 

Every narrowing, restriction, infringement, and clever interpretation imposed upon us in the years since our Constitution was ratified is simply a violation of our natural rights.

We hold that every violation of the Constitution and Bill of Rights by those in Government is an act of Treason, as these violations are unjust, undermining the fundamental foundations of our republic, breaking the pact between citizen and government, and desecrating the relationship between Man and Creator.  Any man or woman who enforces these unconstitutional laws on behalf of government is a treasonous soul and an enemy of Liberty and humanity.

Liberalism is Treason & Tyranny

Jus ad bellum: There is a moral obligation on the part of any Patriot who decides to engage in violence, before you cross the Rubicon and plunge yourself and perhaps your republic into the horrors of civil war.  Killing an enemy is always just and proper in the face of an existential threat.  Whether the Liberal comes to your home to kill you, or sends armed Government thugs to kill you, or to interfere with your ability to provide for your family, he poses the same existential threat to you and your family as does the liberal who pulled that lever in the voting booth.  Dead is dead, whether by violence or poverty and starvation caused by Liberal policies, and both are morally sound justifications for war.
