The III Community can never succeed without the active support of at least 10% of the liberty-respecting American population.  Twenty percent would be better.

Depending upon the poll one considers, those Americans who self-identify as Tea Party folks ranges from 18% up to nearly 30%.  There is a mood in the republic for a return to more of our traditional, Founding values.

The III Community is the most strident sub-group on the Right in demanding faithful respect for Constitutional values.  Many in the III Community have surrendered hope that the republic can or will be set to Her proper course before a major event sparks violence.  Whether an economic collapse brought about by our irresponsible Political Class, or a heavy-handed move by Collectivists in Government, a significant Terrorist or False Flag attack, or even a major natural event that is manipulated for Collective political gains, many in the III Community believe that serious change in America will only come when accompanied by violence.

Violence is never morally justified but for cases of self defense.  The parameters of justifiable self defense are for another column.

While many in the III Community advocate pre-emptive violence, the majority does not.  Most are simply resigned to the conclusion that violence will come, sooner or later.

As the nation debates Her course, it is of vital importance that the III Community remain politically competent and not behave in a manner that permits the forces of the Left to marginalize the community. 

While most who call themselves III Percenters have resigned themselves to eventual violence, the vast majority of people who make up the Right in America do not share this acceptance of violence...yet.

The political reality is that the III Community must pay heed to the Hearts & Minds of those fellow Americans who are sympathetic to the goals of the Right.  Gratuitous violence will immediately earn scorn of moderate Right Americans, even those who call themselves Conservatives in the Tea Party.  Indeed, any violence that is clearly beyond the scope of self-defense will be condemned by the vast majority of the public.

As Mike at Sipsey Street constantly preaches, No Fort Sumter's, for this very reason.

The other guy must draw First Blood.  Violate this premise and the III Community will immediately cede the moral high ground and be relegated to the category of Extremists, shunned and dismissed from the discourse of the republic.

The next landmine that must be studiously avoided by the
III Community is within our rhetoric.  Rhetoric is the art of using language to communicate effectively and persuasively.  To be taken seriously on the national stage one must use words prudently.  While using strong language is acceptable, the old axiom that you must Say what you mean & Mean what you say, is inviolate.

The moment one draws a line in the sand and offers a penalty for crossing it, and that line is crossed, you must make good on the ultimatum.  If not, you have been punk'd.  You have demonstrated that you are not a serious participant.  Excuses may be offered, but the fact remains; You have failed to live up to your own words.

So, rather than draw lines in the sand with ominous retribution offered to any who challenge you...don't draw the line.  Shut up.  You not only ruin your credibility, but you diminish the entire III Community. 

When your entire political platform is premised upon violent counter-action in the face of tyranny and you suddenly find yourself personally confronted with that tyranny, and you bend knee...

...'nuff said.

Excerpt: There comes a time when civility is no longer appropriate as the only option on the table.  Dare we not offend the sensibilities of Liberals, Socialists, and Communists in our midst who are ruining and destroying our republic?  Are we to cower and sheepishly genuflect when we are scolded for the tone or choice of our words in the face of ruin, poverty, tyranny, and death?!

How is that not only a degree or two removed from a pistol to the head? We are undeniably heading toward the same tyrannies known to Russians, Germans, and the Chinese.  It starts with Liberalism, advances to Socialism, and ends with Fascism, Communism, or some other tyranny…and death.

Excerpt: We have a culture of people whose first response to a physical threat is to dial 911, or worse, a lawyer.  We have a nation of people who will dump hot coffee on themselves, then sue the restaurant – and win!  We have a nation of educators who suspend children for drawing a picture of a handgun or for bringing a Boy Scout knife-and-fork kit to show and tell! 

We have a nation of people so removed from the food chain that many would starve to death if the local supermarket closed.  We have a nation of people who cannot truly grasp the hardships faced by most of the people in the world every day, and as a result we have a nation of people who have lost fundamental common sense.

Excerpt: The Bill of Rights articulates the natural rights of man, rights that are not bestowed by government, but rights that are innately ours as human beings.  These rights may not be taken from us.  These rights were written in plain language so that no clever interpretation and manipulation of the intent was possible.  These rights may not be restricted, narrowed, or infringed.  Any attempt to do so is a violation of the relationship between Man and Creator. 

Every narrowing, restriction, infringement, and clever interpretation imposed upon us in the years since our Constitution was ratified is simply a violation of our natural rights.

We hold that every violation of the Constitution and Bill of Rights by those in Government is an act of Treason, as these violations are unjust, undermining the fundamental foundations of our republic, breaking the pact between citizen and government, and desecrating the relationship between Man and Creator.  Any man or woman who enforces these unconstitutional laws on behalf of government is a treasonous soul and an enemy of Liberty and humanity.
