If you must ask permission to behave in a manner, whether from mommy, the nanny, or your Government, it is not Liberty or Freedom that you possess in the matter.  If mommy, the nanny or Government takes the position that you may be scolded for acting in contravention to their command, you must understand that you are not operating in a manner that is consistent with Freedom or Liberty.

In America today the list of actions for which you must ask the permission of Government is extensive.  If you fail to ask they will scold you with a fine.  If you do not pay the fine they will often move to seize your property.  If you fail to yield the property to their collectors, they will send armed collectors, and will likely kill you.

Test the theory: Do not pay the property taxes on your home.  The process will unfold as listed above.  Indeed, where I live, the city government has declared my neighborhood to be of some special import and declared it historic.  As such, they assert the power to regulate the condition of the paint on the house, the length of my grass, and if my family wants to upgrade the house we must submit plans and beg permission.  If our improvements will alter the historic nature of the property, such as placing a bay window where none existed before, forget it.  No permit.

Mind you - our home is not a Revolutionary period beautiful stone home with some significant past to be preserved.  It is a generic 900 square foot rambler built in the mid-fifties. 

Ignore the permit process?  They will fine you $100 per day, to be paid when your next tax bill is due.  Don't pay?  We've already covered what happens next...

This state of affairs would be repugnant to the likes of our Founders and Framers.  If you take solace in the oft voiced tripe that we are the free-est people in the world, and that is good enough...may posterity forget that ye were our Countrymen.

Americans have devolved into two distinctly different groups of people.  The angst between the groups has achieved the state of hatred, and as each day passes there is no muting of the vehement disgust one group holds for the other.  Instead, there is simply a rising in numbers as those in the middle choose sides.

Simplistically, the groups differ along ideological and philosophical lines and fall into categories that we have labeled Left and Right.  Of course, there are many shades of gray within each category.  Dialogue between the two groups has been almost universally replaced with derision and sniping of the rhetorical sort.  Tensions are rising dangerously. 

Rhetoric is giving way to action.

Where the Left most often chooses to use the power of Government to enforce and impose their will upon others, it is in the nature of the Right to act individually.  When Right and Left meet in conflict, it will be individuals of the Right against Government, as represented by the police, lawyers and courts.

Many on the Right have resolved the moral dilemma posed in the concept of having to engage Government.  Members of the III Percent Community, RTC, and even many grass-roots members of the Tea Party have resigned themselves to the fact that Liberty will only be restored by destroying the wall of Government cemented in place by the Left.

When recent healthcare legislation passed, bricks were thrown through office windows of politicians.  Today ARRA signs are targeted for defamation as the Right becomes more and more annoyed that the Left and their tools in Government dismiss dialogue and continue to impose their collective will.  Armed Americans are forming Right to Carry rallies to convey a message that is otherwise being ignored.

The Left and the Governments of America, including most Republican politicians, are failing to heed the rising pitch of warnings coming from the republic.  When one hears the rattle of the rattlesnake, only the most stupid among us fail to take pause.

Those who disregard the rattlesnake, get bit.

Excerpt: There comes a time when civility is no longer appropriate as the only option on the table.  Dare we not offend the sensibilities of Liberals, Socialists, and Communists in our midst who are ruining and destroying our republic?  Are we to cower and sheepishly genuflect when we are scolded for the tone or choice of our words in the face of ruin, poverty, tyranny, and death?!

Excerpt: You are a fool if you do not believe that elements of the Left would use force, if they could, to compel you to comply with many of their edicts.  In drafting healthcare reform, they use the threat of financial fines, felony conviction and prison if you refuse to buy health insurance! 

How is that not only a degree or two removed from a pistol to the head? We are undeniably heading toward the same tyrannies known to Russians, Germans, and the Chinese.  It starts with Liberalism, advances to Socialism, and ends with Fascism, Communism, or some other tyranny…and death.

Excerpt: We have a culture of people whose first response to a physical threat is to dial 911, or worse, a lawyer.  We have a nation of people who will dump hot coffee on themselves, then sue the restaurant – and win!  We have a nation of educators who suspend children for drawing a picture of a handgun or for bringing a Boy Scout knife-and-fork kit to show and tell! 

We have a nation of people so removed from the food chain that many would starve to death if the local supermarket closed.  We have a nation of people who cannot truly grasp the hardships faced by most of the people in the world every day, and as a result we have a nation of people who have lost fundamental common sense.

Excerpt: The Bill of Rights articulates the natural rights of man, rights that are not bestowed by government, but rights that are innately ours as human beings.  These rights may not be taken from us.  These rights were written in plain language so that no clever interpretation and manipulation of the intent was possible.  These rights may not be restricted, narrowed, or infringed.  Any attempt to do so is a violation of the relationship between Man and Creator. 

Every narrowing, restriction, infringement, and clever interpretation imposed upon us in the years since our Constitution was ratified is simply a violation of our natural rights.

We hold that every violation of the Constitution and Bill of Rights by those in Government is an act of Treason, as these violations are unjust, undermining the fundamental foundations of our republic, breaking the pact between citizen and government, and desecrating the relationship between Man and Creator.  Any man or woman who enforces these unconstitutional laws on behalf of government is a treasonous soul and an enemy of Liberty and humanity.
