The Federal Government took in just about $2.4 Trillion dollars in 2010, and spent about $3.55 Trillion. The difference of $1.15 Trillion represents the deficit, the amount we had to borrow just to cover our out-of-control and unconstitutional spending. (Debt is our cumulative sum of borrowing)

Here is a cursory analysis of the economics of a III Platform and the immediate savings to the republic if we simply sent a few unconstitutional butts home:

So, if we can save at least $375 Billion dollars each year just by closing the above unconstitutional Departments and Agencies, that's a good start. As we call for in our Platform, every other Department and Agency will be forced to show cause as to why it should continue to exist, including its Constitutional Authority. There will be more savings.

The big spending items each year for the Federal Government are (2010 numbers):

Medicaid		$290 billion
Interest on Debt		$164 billion
Total:		$1.585 Trillion

Defense adds another $700 Billion to the spending column. I have no desire to cut our defense spending budget. I have no problem spending more on defense. Let us always have the most effective offense and defense on the planet, so that we never have to use either. I want widgets in orbit that can shut down every nuke on the planet under control of the other guy. I want a chem/bio lab to come up with the pill that makes us, and our food chain, immune to the worst bugs our enemies can create. I want our local town armory to have enough rifles, pistols and bullets to outfit every man, woman and child in town, if it is ever needed. I want DARPA to build a laser pistol and a Tulpa rifle that I can have when E.T. decides to show up and start a Ruckus.

I like the fact that we can place a cruise missile on a target the size of a pie plate on another continent. It helps me sleep better at night. If you do not understand this point, I encourage you to travel to any Third World nation to understand what can happen here.

Entitlements: If we are going to ask a politician to stand on a stage and advocate the destruction of Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, and we want her to live to see her next campaign stop, we need to give her a serious bag of candy to offer the folks in our country who have come to covet these programs.

They'll gore an ox, but it had better not be their ox...unless you give them something they want more than an ox.

And, the folks have a point: They paid into these programs. The money belongs to them.

In our Platform we called for every person to be refunded the amount of money they have been forced to pay into these programs, including fair market interest. Not only is this fair, it will make a direct appeal to the base nature of the average human heart. A bird in the hand, as they say...

Citizen, here is a pile of money in return for the little dribbles we were going to pay out...spend it wisely. It is your money, after all, Government should have never taken it from you in the first place. But there won't be any more coming from Uncle Sam.

I know enough about human nature that I would bet dollars to dimes that the vast majority of people would rather have a single check from the Treasury for all of the money they ever paid in, versus a few hundred a month. Think about it: The average American who earned an average of $50,000 year for 30 years paid (at 7.5%) $112,500 into Social Security/Medicare. Of course these numbers are very rough, but how many people do you know who would not accept a check for $112,500 (plus interest) and call it even?

I have no idea how to compute the total that would be due to Citizens if Uncle Sam suddenly were ordered to make everyone whole. I know the records exist, but it will take someone more savvy than am I to dig up the numbers for our Candidates.

Maybe we can't afford to write everyone a check for the full amount all at once. But there are many options, and there are many folks out there far more experienced in such things than am I. Perhaps we pay our oldest Citizens first, and our youngest get their lump sum payment 10 or 15 years from now. I know it can be done. And on the other side is a Federal Government that is no longer unconstitutionally stealing from her Citizens and going broke trying to float unconstitutional Ponzi schemes.

Shifting gears: If our Candidates succeed in body-checking Uncle Sam off the back of Business, the economic boom would boggle the mind. Just consider that the Government imposes a tax rate of up to 35% on our corporations. But the corporation doesn't pay the IRS from its profits. The corporation simply adds the cost to the good or service and serves as a collection agent for the Government in a stealth tax upon us. The down side is that if the unit cost of production is forced too high in the market place, we stop buying from the company that has to collect the tax.

Many companies have been driven from our shores because it is cheaper to make a widget offshore and ship it back, thereby ducking the corporate tax rate. (Not to mention the environmental expenses, the safety and union and liability expenses associated with producing widgets in America.) The result, of course, is the loss of US jobs making widgets.

I challenge any reader, if you think the American environment is not hostile to business, check into the capital requirements for starting a charity, a small handgun manufacturing business, or a small trade school in your home town. Every impediment faced by business is a result of Government and special interests that want into your pocket. I know the answers to the above business ventures in Maryland, DC and Virginia because I have been involved in each. Remember that Philadelphia wants to charge a blogger a $300 fee for a license?

If we get Government and special interest leeches out of our way, our economy will roar.

Think about the points above, and I have included the Platform again below.

2012 III Political Platform v2.0

A) Constitutional Authority: We believe that the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights, as amended, say what they mean and mean what they say. The Commerce Clause and the General Welfare Clause are not license for Congress to violate a single enumerated power described in Article I, Section 8 or elsewhere. Our Candidates shall cast no vote in Congress on any legislation without obvious and explicitly stated Constitutional Authority.

B) Second Amendment: ...shall not be infringed... says what it means and means what it says. All Federal statutes and regulations which, when read in accordance to the plain meaning of their contents, infringe directly or indirectly on any Constitutional Right shall be immediately repealed.

C) Fourth Amendment: The plain language of the Fourth Amendment shall be restored to original intent. Such violations including TSA Scanners and Pat-Downs, Stop & Frisk procedures will end immediately. Searches of a Citizen, his papers or effects shall only be permissible upon signed warrant from a Judge. The PATRIOT Act shall be immediately repealed.

D) States Rights: Our Candidates shall fully support the intent of the Founders and Framers, and to this end shall support the repeal of the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Amendments.

E) Scope of Federal Government: Our Candidates will submit legislation to de-fund and disband every extra-Constitutional Department and Agency within the Federal Government within one year, including but not limited to the Department of Education, the Department of Energy, the Department of Commerce, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Department of Health and Human Service, the Department of Labor, the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Transportation, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Transportation Security Administration. All other Federal Departments and Agencies shall submit a written justification for continued operations to the appropriate House and Senate Committees within six months of the effective date of the Legislation.

F) By separate Legislation our Candidates shall move to end every extra-Constitutional policy and program and law currently in effect.

G) Impeachment: Our Candidates shall support and actively seek Impeachment proceedings for Treason against politicians, bureaucrats, and judges who are believed to have violated their oath of office.

H) Entitlement Programs: The proper place for Entitlement programs such as Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and Federally sponsored healthcare is in the respective States, and are prohibited to the Federal Government. Our Candidates will immediately submit legislation to abolish all Federal transfer payment programs and every American shall receive a refund of all money paid into these programs, including interest calculated at fair market rates had the Citizen been permitted to save this money in private interest earning accounts.

I) Military Deployment: Our Candidates shall submit legislation that all US Military bases around the world on foreign soil shall be closed within one year, and all American troops brought home. (Any threat that may have once been posed to America from Iraq or Afghanistan has now been eliminated, and all US troops should return to the safety of the US.)

J) Defense: The Navy has the primary responsibility for American Force Projection around the world, and the Navy and Air Force shall jointly and immediately begin to establish American supremacy in space from Earth's atmosphere to the far side of the moon. (Space is the High Ground. Until the Nature of Man is fundamentally altered, there will be a militarily dominant Tribe on the planet - I contend that Tribe must be our own.)

K) Guantanamo Bay: It is inappropriate for the United States of America to hold prisoners without judicial resolution. Those currently held by the American Government for Terrorism related activity shall be tried by a Military tribunal, and executed or released to their home country upon final judgment of that proceeding.

L) Economy: America should immediately set course to engage the markets of the world on a genuine Free Trade footing. With the goal of eliminating all Federal Government interference in Global markets within one year, a Presidential (or Congressional, if the President fails to act) Committee shall be established to deliver to the President and Congress within six months of formation a report on how to achieve that objective.

M) The Fed: Our Candidates shall submit legislation for a complete and public audit of all operations and holdings of the Federal Reserve System, with joint hearings to effect the abolition of the Federal Reserve System to be commenced within ninety days of said audit.

N) Energy: Energy is a strategic aspect of our economic and national security. Dependence upon foreign sources of oil are unacceptable, and most alternative energy sources are insufficient to achieve national security goals in a timely manner. Federal restrictions on the construction of Nuclear Power facilities must be immediately removed.

Our Candidates will submit legislation to compel the US Navy, within one year, to commence construction on 100 Nuclear generation facilities located on Military facilities within the continental United States. All facilities and the commencement of commercial power generation shall be completed within four years of the effective date of legislation. Transfer of Generation Facilities from the Navy to appropriate private companies shall occur within two years of coming online.

Excerpt: You are a fool if you do not believe that elements of the Left would use force, if they could, to compel you to comply with many of their edicts. In drafting healthcare reform, they use the threat of financial fines, felony conviction and prison if you refuse to buy health insurance!

How is that not only a degree or two removed from a pistol to the head? We are undeniably heading toward the same tyrannies known to Russians, Germans, and the Chinese. It starts with Liberalism, advances to Socialism, and ends with Fascism, Communism, or some other tyranny…and death.

We hold that every violation of the Constitution and Bill of Rights by those in Government is an act of Treason, as these violations are unjust, undermining the fundamental foundations of our republic, breaking the pact between citizen and government, and desecrating the relationship between Man and Creator. Any man or woman who enforces these unconstitutional laws on behalf of government is a treasonous soul and an enemy of Liberty and humanity.

When you earn real attention from our Masters, you'll know it...usually after it is too late. Our Masters will tolerate quite a bit from folks, even Patriots who are rabble-rousing. They really don't care if you are stocking up on rice and beans, even rifles and bullets. They don't care if you call them names or incite a few misdemeanors or send them snarky little letters. If you are trying to get their attention and you have not yet caught a Federal case, it's still amateur hour...or maybe you are valuable to them...

It's when you start to have an impact on the flow of dollars that you will earn real interest. Write a report that negatively impacts the stock value of a few Fortune 50 companies, and you will soon have a genuine understanding of the term Lawfare.

Truth, Justice & the American Way?

Not so much.

The DOJ conviction rate is 95% in a bad year, and pushes above 98% according to some stats. The deck is not only stacked in their favor, they own the deck. And the card table. And the casino. Do you understand?

Can you name any Federal bureaucracy that runs at a minimum 95% efficiency rate? What does that tell you?

Do not make the mistake of thinking that you intimidate them just because they have not yet chosen to come for you...

The Point: If you are trying to incite Big Brother to notice you, go for it! But, man up and roll bigger dice.

If you would prefer to make your preparations for it with relative impunity, just go about your business and avoid taking actions that will make it easy for Them to take you out of play, and do not give them a reason to take you out of play. Don't telegraph about the details of your preparations or defensive measures. Don't put a pistol in your belt, against your local laws, unless you are willing to use it when LEO spots you in the convenience store. Avoid gratuitous violence.

Do not draw hyperbolic lines in the sand. When you draw lines in the sand that you do not defend, it reveals you for what you are deep in your Soul...and some of that bad energy splatters on us, too.

There will be plenty of opportunities for a fight, if you want one, soon enough. Be smart, stay off the radar, so that any fight you engage will be on your terms.

Get your head on straight, Patriot!

Following the counsel of idiots and hollow heroes regarding SHTF circumstances will get you dead...and if you can't tell the difference between serious men and hot-air machines, you're already half way to a mass grave. Growling on blogs about how you will not yield one more inch, or one more of your gun rights, then letting LEO have your pistol during a traffic stop makes you a pathetic joke, not a Leader worthy of serious consideration.

Hyperbolic proclamations about what you will do to any Alphabet Agency team making a dynamic entry to your home is hardly helpful to the Patriot cause.

If you draw a line in the sand, defend the damned line! Do not whine and make excuses later about the better part of valor! Your poor judgment (drawing the line) and cowardice (choosing not to defend it) colors us all.

Current political leaders are only the face of the problem confronting America today. The underlying cancer eating the American Soul is Liberalism. But for your Liberal neighbors, Liberal politicians would never be elected to office.
