The objective is personal Liberty.

The vehicle is the Constitution & Bill of Rights.

Everything else is a distraction.

You will notice that every year in America our personal Liberty diminishes while Collectivism gains ground. The will of the Left is imposed by the force of Government.  If we accept 1776 as the beginning of Liberty in America, it has been under assault and in retreat since.

What we have today may be defined in many ways, though our Founders and Framers would not call the state in which we live as Freedom or Liberty.  Calling ourselves the
Free-est people in the world is hardly a consolation.

The simple reality is that there have always been, and will always be, men who intend to be Masters.  Mister Jefferson's generation succeeded in killing such men and driving them from the field.  Mister Lincoln and his allies succeeded where the British did not, in securing the entire people of America as slaves.

Today the spirit and essence of what it means to be an American is drawing it's last gasps, perched at the edge of oblivion.  Most of our younger Citizens have no concept of true Liberty.  It is only the oldest among us who truly have lived during an America that even remotely resembled the age of our Founders, though even these Americans today have not known a republic without the weapon of the Income Tax.

The grip of Collectivism, Liberalism, or whatever label one chooses to assign the Left, upon America is far more secure than even the average Constitutionalist understands.  The rumbling of discontent within the communities of the Tea Party, RTC and III Percent are the republics final opportunity to ever again know Liberty, before it is lost to the History of Man that others will write.

The candidates running for office who call themselves Constitutionalists offer little real hope to the Citizen who wants to be left alone by Government and his Countrymen.  Even the most Constitutionalist of candidates falls far short of the perspective held by Jefferson.  And of those in politics today who are truly Constitutionalists rather than Collectivists draped in the clothing of the Right, they are simply too outnumbered to make any real impact in the near future.

Constitutionalists have a choice: Succumb to the Left, or do not submit.  Failure to submit will bring the force of Government into your life, the force of Government understood by Mao.  They will bring guns.

Liberty is not now, nor has it ever been free.

Decide, American.  Are you willing to live as they insist, hoping to live comfortably until you die?  Or, are you hungry for the Liberty and Freedom that was taught to us about the time of Jefferson?

Excerpt: There comes a time when civility is no longer appropriate as the only option on the table.  Dare we not offend the sensibilities of Liberals, Socialists, and Communists in our midst who are ruining and destroying our republic?  Are we to cower and sheepishly genuflect when we are scolded for the tone or choice of our words in the face of ruin, poverty, tyranny, and death?!

Excerpt: You are a fool if you do not believe that elements of the Left would use force, if they could, to compel you to comply with many of their edicts.  In drafting healthcare reform, they use the threat of financial fines, felony conviction and prison if you refuse to buy health insurance! 

How is that not only a degree or two removed from a pistol to the head? We are undeniably heading toward the same tyrannies known to Russians, Germans, and the Chinese.  It starts with Liberalism, advances to Socialism, and ends with Fascism, Communism, or some other tyranny…and death.

Excerpt: We have a culture of people whose first response to a physical threat is to dial 911, or worse, a lawyer.  We have a nation of people who will dump hot coffee on themselves, then sue the restaurant – and win!  We have a nation of educators who suspend children for drawing a picture of a handgun or for bringing a Boy Scout knife-and-fork kit to show and tell! 

We have a nation of people so removed from the food chain that many would starve to death if the local supermarket closed.  We have a nation of people who cannot truly grasp the hardships faced by most of the people in the world every day, and as a result we have a nation of people who have lost fundamental common sense.

Excerpt: The Bill of Rights articulates the natural rights of man, rights that are not bestowed by government, but rights that are innately ours as human beings.  These rights may not be taken from us.  These rights were written in plain language so that no clever interpretation and manipulation of the intent was possible.  These rights may not be restricted, narrowed, or infringed.  Any attempt to do so is a violation of the relationship between Man and Creator. 

Every narrowing, restriction, infringement, and clever interpretation imposed upon us in the years since our Constitution was ratified is simply a violation of our natural rights.

We hold that every violation of the Constitution and Bill of Rights by those in Government is an act of Treason, as these violations are unjust, undermining the fundamental foundations of our republic, breaking the pact between citizen and government, and desecrating the relationship between Man and Creator.  Any man or woman who enforces these unconstitutional laws on behalf of government is a treasonous soul and an enemy of Liberty and humanity.

Notice: Tuesday's & Friday's

I have enjoyed writing these columns recently.  For me, writing is a very healthy and enjoyable exercise.  As many of you know we use this venue as a platform for upcoming books.  We will be releasing three titles this fall that may be of interest to the Tea Party, III and RTC Communities.

In addition to writing, which doesn't pay many bills, other business ventures are requiring much more of my attention as we head into the fall months.  All of this is to say that new columns here will be less frequently posted until the workload eases a bit.  I hope to post two each week, on each Tuesday and Friday.

We will be launching Patriot Go Bag in the next week or two, a site dedicated to reviews of Patriot gear. 

Thank you to all who have visited recently, we appreciate meeting those who have written.  Hopefully we can meet in person at an upcoming event.  Until then, please check in with us from time to time.
