Words have meaning.

Words can be powerful, and words can do damage.

Patriots who blog, write columns, comment on blogs or hold discussions on topics important to Patriots should exercise significant discipline when selecting the words that are used. 

It matters.

Two men sitting together who complain about Government and agree to fight against Government, even if fighting simply means punching an IRS Agent in the nose, have likely just crossed into criminal behavior.  Your lawyers and their lawyers will determine your fate.

Patriots understand that Government is not the problem.  It is men and women who use the force of Government against Citizens and to enrich and empower themselves who are the problem. 

Government is legitimate and Constitutionally authorized. 

People make it bad. 

Overthrowing the Government isn't the goal.  Ridding ourselves of those who would be our Masters through the misuse of Government is the goal.  The former could be argued to be sedition.  The latter can not.  More importantly, the latter is accurate.

So, strive to say what you mean, and mean what you say.

In the old west it was usually a hanging offense to steal a mans horse.  The logic was practical: A man without a horse and left on foot was left to the harsh elements and hazards such as Indians.  A man without a horse could very easily die.  So, killing a horse thief was reasonable.

I point this out to illustrate that in the real world, especially the world many of us are fearful will be thrust upon us through collapse or rogue men in Government, every man will answer for his actions in the harshest manner, because so many actions, and words, will exist in the realm of life and death.

Steal a mans horse, you sentence him to die.  Therefore, horse thieves die.

What if you call a man a traitor?  Traitors are executed all over the world.  A quick and merciful death is often denied to traitors, because treason endangers the entire tribe.  If you deliberately endanger the entire tribe to the risks of death, you die...and you may die ugly.

Prisons have sophisticated and brutally efficient intelligence systems.  In prison there are rules, but you'd better understand that the rules are as close to reality as one can get without descending into pure barbarity.  In prison, you'd better treat everyone you meet with dignity and respect, and you will find that the conduct is afforded you as well.

One of the rules is that new prisoners are not given the typical punishment for infractions until they have had time to learn the rules.  But there comes a time when you will be held to the Code.  Please and Thank You and Excuse Me are expected in prison, and the man who fails to respect this rule will face harsh retribution.  You'll be told only once by mouth.  The next time, you'll get broken up. 

Break the rule again, you'll get dead.

There simply is no tolerance for BS.

There are many ways to mess up in prison and get dead.  If your case has anything to do with hurting or molesting kids, you'll be lucky if you die quickly.  Usually, for molesters, the traditional penalty is to light your bed on fire and make sure it kills you...relatively slowly.

If you are former LEO or prison guard, or parole officer, et cetera, and you catch a case, they do not put you in with other prisoners, because you will be killed.

There is a lesson here for your tribe and OpSec, as well.

In prison, one of the most egregious violations among prisoners is to be a rat.  To snitch.  Such things are taken very, very seriously among prisoners, because the stakes are very high.  In prison there are shadow economies.  Many men in prison have been there for decades, and many will be there for decades more. 

In prison, you can get anything you want, if you know who can get it, and you have something valuable that he wants in return.  Shrimp cocktail is easy.  Cell phones are everywhere.  Porn videos are cheap, the player a little more pricey (and harder to hide)  Getting a woman is a common occurrence, and you can pick your favorite flavors.  Prison Guards do random drug tests on prisoners because prisoners can and do get any drugs they want.

A known snitch, one who turned on his team and snitched at trial, is simply shunned from the moment he enters prison.  So long as he stays out of everyone's way, no foul.

But when a stand-up prisoner comes under suspicion of being a snitch, it puts the shadow economy in jeopardy.  Many men support their wives and children on the outside by moving product inside...and if you snitch him out, he loses the ability to care for his family.  Like our horse thief, I think you can understand why snitches have a very short shelf life in prison.  Men are very serious about taking care of their families.

One does not find many cowards in prison.  You will find a high concentration of men who have faith in the effective use of violence to achieve an end.  You have men who will use their fists, boots, or fill a tube sock with a few locks and crack your skull when you aren't looking.  And you won't find anyone who rats him out for doing it, either...except the snitches.

I think you can also understand just how seriously one takes any hint or accusation of being a snitch.  If someone calls you a snitch, he is advocating for your death.

It is that simple.  One who throws around words like Traitor and Snitch is playing with life and death.

As I said earlier, prisons have brutally efficient intelligence systems, and it is rare that a man will suffer the fate of a snitch if the charge is not true.  There will be an investigation, and very hard men will get to the truth of the matter.  But when the accusation is made, someone is going to get hurt...either the accused, or the accuser.

Consider this as you are faced with OpSec concerns.

Also understand: All men will, one day and in some manner, answer for their words and actions. 

No real man will ever forget when someone tried to kill him, whether with a knife or with words.  No real man will let such a thing go.  Nor will a real man telegraph his intent.

You'll notice the serious breeds of dogs rarely bark when they decide to do damage.  You'll never hear an Akita or Pit in the moments before he kills your dog. 

Be careful what you say, because the price can be high.  Be careful what you permit your team to say.  Words may get someone killed, just because you were sloppy in choosing the right words, or because you did not understand just how seriously some men take threats. 

Restoration is not an internet game.

It is life and death.
